about the HUB

The aim of the Hub, Hazelwell is to enable local people to meet, learn and explore ways of unlocking their potential.

We will do this in three ways:

  • by providing leisure activities and vocational courses aimed at boosting confidence and employment prospects

  • by providing quality, affordable space for groups to meet

  • by providing practical developmental support to small local businesses and community groups

The staff are accountable to the Hub's trustees - twelve individuals who have been involved over many years working with local people to find ways to alleviate poverty and its affect in the neighbourhood. They bring considerable relevant experience and expertise.
A full list of the trustees is available from the Hub.

The Hub is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Community Fund, in addition to smaller grants and individual donations, for which we are very grateful. If you would like to donate to the Hub, please contact us, or send a cheque made payable to the Hub Hazelwell, to 318 Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7NH. Don't forget - if you're a taxpayer, your gift can be worth nearly 30% more at no extra cost to yourself!

We look forward to welcoming you!
